Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: The Additional Sessions Court has granted conditional bail to the wife of Sanjeel Kudchadkar in connection with a kidnapping case that is currently under investigation. The court directed the accused to execute a personal bond of ₹25,000 and furnish one surety of the same amount, besides complying with other conditions laid down in the bail order. The court clarified that the grant of bail does not amount to a finding on the merits of the case. Team Goemkarponn PORVORIM: The Bombay High Court’s Goa bench has convicted former Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal in the 2013 rape case and sentenced him to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a ₹5 lakh fine. The division bench of Justices Dr Neela Gokhale and Amit Jamsandekar overturned the 2021 decision of the Goa trial court, which had acquitted Tejpal of all charges.
