Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: The Additional Sessions Court has granted conditional bail to the wife of Sanjeel Kudchadkar in connection with a kidnapping case that is currently under investigation. The court directed the accused to execute a personal bond of ₹25,000 and furnish one surety of the same amount, besides complying with other conditions laid down in the bail order. According to police, complainant Ravindra Yadav, a native of Rajasthan currently residing at Flat No. 407, Kamat Holiday Home, Gaurawado, Calangute, stated that at around 2:30 am on August 5, seven to eight unidentified persons, including two women, forcibly entered his rented apartment. Team Goemkarponn PORVORIM: The Bombay High Court’s Goa bench has convicted former Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal in the 2013 rape case and sentenced him to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a ₹5 lakh fine. The division bench of Justices Dr Neela Gokhale and Amit Jamsandekar overturned the 2021 decision of the Goa trial court, which had acquitted Tejpal of all charges.
