Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: Goa today reported 53 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there were 60 recoveries and two deaths were reported today. As per DHS bulletin, the active cases now stand at 750. The death toll is 768. The samples tested in last 24 hours is 1396. The recovery rate today is 97.15 percent. The total patients recovered till now is 51,891.

Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: As the Pulse Polio immunization kicked off today,1,04,122 children’s were administered at the 641 designated booths across Goa. As per health offcials,45,016 were given polio drops in North Goa while in South Goa 58,788 childrens received the dose. During the Polio Immunization Drive, healthcare workers and others followed all Covid-19 protocols. People were asked to maintain physical distance and wear masks while participating in the drive.
