Siolim: The residents of Siolim have raised objections to a petrol pump project which is proposed in close proximity of Kirti Vidyalaya school and also a residential area. A joint inspection was called by the Siolim Marna village panchayat in presence of residents and petroleum company on Thursday at the project site. Goemkarponn desk Panaji: The Comptroller Auditor General of India has pointed out that the State’s outstanding fiscal liabilities of the State increased by 47 per cent from from 2014 to 2019. The CAG report tabled in the House today said that outstanding fiscal liabilities of the State increased from ₹13,877 crore in 2014-15 to ₹ 20,412 crore at the end of 2018-19. State BJP is not in favour of contesting Municipal polls on party lines informed BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanawde today. “We have told CM, if possible instead of holding these election on party lines, let them be conducted like earlier, without any party symbol.
