VASCO: In a shocking Incident, a newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a field behind Merces Chapel at Vaddem.
As of now, there is no information on who abandoned the baby girl in the fields.
Vasco police have registered an offence against unknown persons under sections 327 and 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act.
Vasco police have informed that the baby girl has been handed over to authorities at Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital in Bambolim.
Police have said that efforts are own to trace the accused, and an investigation into the case is currently going on.
