. Colva Police caught absconding accused from Belgaum

The absconding accused Suraj Myageri was traced through surveillance act at Kadoli, Belgaum and brought to Goa late in the evening on 27-03-2024 and placed under arrest. The accused is remanded to 09 days Police custody by Hon’ble JMFC Court, Margao.
On the previous evening of Holi i.e. Sunday, the accused Suraj Myageri came to the residence of deceased and accused No. 1 Mangala @ Vaibhavi Sidnal pretending his purpose of visit to take up painting contract through reference of deceased as he was a Tile Fitter and contractor. The six months old plan to kill the deceased was made successful by wife of deceased Mangala @ Vaibhavi and accused Suraj Myageri. Accused Mangala @ Vaibavi Sidnal was remanded to seven days police custody on 27-03-2024 whereas accused Suraj Myageri is remanded to 09 days Police custody from today i.e. 28-03-2024.
The Colva Police have recovered the scooter of the deceased which was taken by accused No 1.Mangala @Vaibhavi Sidnal and accused No. 2 Suraj Myageri to abscond from the scene of offence after committing murder, is attached from Belgaum alongwith other incriminating evidence.
More evidence is being collected and further investigation is in progress.
