PONDA: The family of late Ketan Bhatikar has made an emotional appeal to the public, urging people to stop speculating about the circumstances surrounding his death and allow the family to grieve in peace.
In a video message released on behalf of the family, Ketan’s elder brother, Dr. Kausthub Bhatikar, accompanied by their parents and Ketan’s wife, thanked people for the support and condolences extended to them after Ketan’s demise on May 15.
However, the family expressed distress over various theories and discussions circulating over the past few days regarding the incident. Dr. Kausthub said the family does not wish for any political controversy or inquiry into the matter, stating that no investigation would bring Ketan back.
He appealed to the public to respect the family’s emotions and refrain from casting suspicion on anyone, particularly Sushant, whom he described as someone deeply trusted by the family. He said the family always felt reassured whenever Ketan and Sushant were together and requested people not to raise doubts about him.
Dr. Kausthub also said he would attempt to continue Ketan’s social work in the future and sought the support of the people in carrying forward his brother’s legacy.
