MARCEL: Ponda Police have detained two sisters and one person in connection with murder case at Marcel.
Yesterday, the dead body of a person, namely Harinder Prasad (44) was found under suspicious circumstances in the Marcel area.
Ponda Police said that at 11 am they received a phone call from PHC Betki informing that one person, namely Harinder Prasad, age 44 r/o Ameyawada Marcel and N/O Bihar, was brought dead in PHC Becki.
After verifying, it was revealed that there were injuries on the head and other parts of the body, and it was a homicidal death.
Ponda Police has registered FIR u/s 302 IPC against an unknown person. Further investigation is in progress.
