PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged Goans to adopt healthier lifestyles in response to the growing incidence of lifestyle-related health issues in the state.
Stressing that small changes in daily habits can have a significant impact on overall well-being, Sawant appealed to citizens to exercise regularly, follow a balanced diet, and cut down on sugar and junk food consumption.
The Chief Minister also called upon doctors and healthcare professionals to play a proactive role in spreading awareness about preventive healthcare and healthy living among patients.
Sawant encouraged people to participate in the statewide ‘Health with Ayurveda’ campaign, which has been extended until July 5, and described it as an opportunity for citizens to take positive steps towards better health.
“A healthy life begins with healthy choices,” the Chief Minister said while promoting the campaign aimed at fostering wellness and disease prevention across Goa.
