Congress leader Vijay Bhike has lodged a complaint against Sunburn organisers of insulting Hindu God Shiva at teh festival venue.
In his complaint to Anjuna police Bhike said the organisers of the ongoing event “Sunburn” at Anjuna, Goa have committed a deliberate malicious act of putting up a large printed image/ visible representation of our Hindu God Lord “Shiva” in the said EDM festival with intent to outrage religious feelings of all Hindus of Goa. “The religious worship of Shiva in Goa state follows strict vegetarian guidelines and almost all Goan Hindus do not consume non-vegetarian food specifically on Mondays if not fasting as part of shiva worship.
