Our CLP Leader and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat today called on the Collector of South Goa and submitted the Memorandum demanding withdrawal of permission for closure of Level Crossing Road in the first week of November 2020 at two locations in Salcete. The Congress Party will participate in the next protests as well stated Girish Chodankar.
Recalling that Congress Party has always remained in the forefront of any protest or agitation in support of preserving the Identity, Environment and Communal Harmony of Goa, Girish Chodankar stated that he along with CLP leader Digambar Kamat and Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco had participated in the walk organized by Save Mollem Group on Gandhi Jayanti Day. He also stated that Congress Leader Moreno Rebello was present at Midnight during the protest at Nessai Railway Level Crossing. Today Quepem Block Congress participated in anti-coal protest at Quepem he mentioned.
GPCC President said that Congress Party will mobilize its workers to come out in large numbers to support the protests opposing the destruction to Environment in Goa.
