PANAJI: Cortalim MLA Anton Vas said that he is willing to intervene and resolve the double-tracking issue if the issues raised by locals are genuine.
“If people approach him with their real issues, I am ready to help,” he said.
He charged that Congress leader Olencio Simoes is misguiding and instigating people to revive his political career.
Former Panch Roquezinho D’Souza also challenged leaders to prove that Railways have encroached on their land.
He assured to give free advocate to file a case against Railway and stay the project if the encroachment is proven.
D’Souza says it’s almost a month that the 4-day ultimatum offered by Olencio Simoes and leaders to Railway is over and questions their silence on the ultimatum.
