MANDREM: BJP leader and former MLA Dayanand Sopte has objected to Minister Mauvin Godinho’s statements in support of MGP MLA Jit Arolkar in Mandrem, asserting that “dadagiri won’t be tolerated”.
Sopte has demanded party action against Godinho over his remarks, stating that he would take up the matter with Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant. He urged the Chief Minister to direct ministers and MLAs to refrain from making such statements.
Reacting to Godinho’s support for Arolkar, Sopte indicated that the issue needed to be addressed within the party and stressed that such conduct would not be accepted.
