Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao SS, Dempo registered wins in the Goa University Inter Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2023-24, played at Goa University Cricket Ground, Taleigao.
In the first match, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao defeated Goa Medical College & Hospital, Bambolim by 78 Runs.
Batting first, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao scored 218/5 in 20 overs.
Yash Gadekar: 78(46), Aryan Narvekar 76(36) not out were the top-scorers.Arsh Sardessai: 2/33, Mandar Ghadi: 2/26 picked wickets for GMCH.
In reply, Goa Medical College & Hospital, Bambolim could manage 140/6 in 20 overs.
Arsh Sardessai: 44(22), Adarsh Naik: 44(35) were top-scorers.Aryan Narvekar 1/31, Fardeen Khan 1/23 were wicket takers.
In the second match, S. S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics defeated Fr. Agnel College, Pillar by 24 runs.
Batting first, S. S. Dempo College of Commerce & Economics scored 160/7 in 20 overs.
Aryan Mashelkar: 44(39), Mihir Gawde 29(20) were topscorers.
Praful Gadge: 2/15, Karan Talwar: 2/24 picked wickets for Fr Agnel.
In reply, Fr. Agnel College, Pillar scored 136/5 in 20 overs.
