PANAJI: Ami Ponjekars, a panel floated for the Corporation of City of Panaji elections, has warned the people not to fall prey to the promises of government jobs by the Babush Monseratte and the chief minster.
“Fearing power of people and joining of hands by dedicated social workers from across the party lines, Babush Jennifer Party (BJP) karyakartas are making fake promises of Government Jobs to our Youth and misguiding them. This shows their desperation and frustration,” said Valmiki Naik said while addressing press conference.
Explaining further, Naik said the current code of conduct will last till April end.
“I am confident, courts will soon order disqualification of 12 MLAs by the month of May and this Government will be dissolved. I appeal to all the Youths of Panjim, Ribandar, Miramar, Mala, Altinho, Caranzalem, Bhatlem, St Inez and Dona Paula not to fall prey to such false,” he said.
Naik further said the Ami Ponjekar salute Late Shri Manohar Parrikar on his second death anniversary.
“We all Goans miss our Bhai. Today, many in his own party people are trying to destroy his legacy. Recently, The way in which Babush Monseratte is currently handling the BJP party all the sincere party cadre is totally disconnected,” Naik said.

“AAP and other regional parties unite and give Goans a genuine option of non-corrupt political alternative. They say, power corrupts the mind and reduces the thinking capacity. Current ruling party is the best example of it. Recent Supreme Court judgement should have come as a wakeup call,” he stated.
He said no party with shame could have claimed moral right to continue in power.
“To fight this un-democratic Govt, We have tried to join hands with like minded people for this CCP election. The self-destruction mode of BJP, which it currently finds itself in, elections may happen in 2021 as well,” he said.
