DONAPAULA: Another police complaint has surfaced against the same youth allegedly involved in the recent BMW crash incident at Dona Paula, bringing renewed attention to his past conduct.
According to a statement recorded at the Panaji Police Station in January 2026, a complainant alleged that the BMW driver assaulted him and his wife near Domino’s Pizza at Dona Paula.
As per the complaint, the complainant was sitting inside his car with his wife and others when a BMW allegedly arrived at high speed and stopped next to their vehicle. The complainant claimed there was enough space for the BMW to pass, but the driver allegedly stepped out, abused him and physically assaulted him.
The complaint further stated that when the complainant’s wife attempted to intervene, she too was allegedly assaulted during the altercation.
The complainant also alleged that the BMW driver later returned carrying a knife, prompting him to drive to the Dona Paula police outpost seeking assistance.
In his statement, the complainant claimed that the BMW driver appeared intoxicated, was not in his senses and behaved in an aggressive and violent manner.
The earlier complaint has now come under fresh scrutiny after the same BMW driver was allegedly involved in the recent viral crash incident at Dona Paula, where multiple vehicles were reportedly damaged and chaos followed at the scene.
Police are expected to examine both incidents and proceed further as per law.
