PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said Goa is steadily moving towards a healthcare system focused on early detection and preventive care through its AI-powered lung cancer screening initiative.
“In Goa, we are steadily advancing towards a future where early detection and preventive care are at the heart of our healthcare system,” Rane said.
The Health Minister stated that the initiative, launched in partnership with AstraZeneca and Qure.ai, has completed more than 1,27,836 free screenings across the state.
“Through our AI-powered lung cancer screening initiative, in partnership with AstraZeneca and Qure.ai, we have now completed 1,27,836+ free screenings, enabling timely diagnosis and better outcomes for our people,” he said.
Rane added that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring advanced and affordable healthcare reaches every Goan.
“This is our commitment to Health for All — ensuring that access to advanced, affordable healthcare reaches every Goan, when it matters most,” he stated.
