PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that his Government will place an initial fund of Rs 10 Crores with CGTMSE to cover the Micro and Small units located in the State of Goa.
“Government will place an initial fund of Rs 10 Crores with CGTMSE to cover the Micro and Small units located in the State of Goa. CGTMSE will provide guarantee coverage in the range of 75% – 85% as applicable under its ongoing Credit Guarantee scheme from its own funds,” said Sawant
He further said that an additional 20% – 10% will be guaranteed from the Fund placed by the State Government to cover 95% of the loan amount.
Sawant said that Government is fulfilling one of the budget announcement promises of this year to strengthen the most important pillar of the Indian economy by way of improving and easing credit facilities for Micro and Small enterprises in the State of Goa by launching Mukhyamantri (MSUSY).
Chief Minister urged the youth and Goans to take maximum benefit of the scheme.
“As a part of the MoU, State Government will ensure credit linkage to Micro and Small Enterprises, especially those in un-served and under-served geographies, making the availability of finance to new generation entrepreneurs and under-privileged that lack collateral security and/or third-party guarantee to support their loan proposal,” he added.
