PERNEM: Two drowning incidents have shocked the Pernem taluka on Thursday morning.
Information reveals that Faiz Ahmed, age.47 yrs, n/o. Pune drowned at Morjim beach today morning at about 08.30hrs.
The deceaesd had came to Goa with his wife Fatima and two children 3 days back and was staying in one resort at Morjim.
The body was fished out by life guard n shifted to CHC, Pernem where doctor declared him brought dead.
In yet another incident at same Morjim beach at same time one Rajesh Sharma, age 50yrs, r/o Banglore, was also drowned and that he was also removed by lifeguard and shifted to CHC Pernem where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased had come to his friend place at Morjim n had gone for bath at Morjim beach.
