MOPA: Manohar International Airport has achieved the prestigious ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation Level 3+ certification, further strengthening its commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible airport operations.
The recognition highlights GOX’s continued efforts towards reducing carbon emissions, improving operational sustainability and implementing impactful environmental initiatives. Officials said the achievement marks another significant milestone in the airport’s vision of building a greener and more climate-resilient future for the aviation sector.
The Airport Carbon Accreditation programme, led by Airports Council International (ACI), recognises airports worldwide for their efforts in carbon management and reduction. Achieving Level 3+ certification reflects advanced progress in emissions management and stakeholder engagement aimed at lowering the airport’s overall carbon footprint.
The milestone also reinforces GOX’s focus on promoting sustainable aviation practices and supporting India’s broader environmental and climate goals.
