AGUADA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the Blade Helicopter services launched in the state will help for tourism and related medical purposes.
Today, CM Sawant and Blade India officials took the inaugural ride at Aguada.
“This is a very important service and can be used for medical as well as tourism-related purposes. Also, there a lot of opportunity in Goa to explore the unexplored hinterland destinations in the state,” said CM Sawant
He further said that his government would grant necessary permission for operations in the state.
“This service can also be used for interstate movements, and people from Goa can travel to Kolhapur and Belgaum,” he added.
Sawant, during his ride, also said that Goa looks beautiful from the top.
BLADE India, an aggregator for helicopter services, is set to expand its presence to Goa, Uttarakhand and Karnataka, among other regions. The firm will also add five more helicopters to its services this fiscal year.
