MARGAO: An inquiry has been initiated after two police constables were involved in an argument at the Margao Konkan Railway Station on Tuesday.
According to PI Vikram Naik, a quarrel had broken out among daily wage workers in the area while police personnel were on duty at the railway station. On-duty constable Manjunath Doddamani rushed to the spot and attempted to pacify the situation.
During the incident, constable Kuldeep Naik, who was reportedly off duty, also arrived at the location. An argument subsequently broke out between the two constables.
PI Vikram Naik said an inquiry into the incident is currently underway and appropriate action will be taken after completion of the investigation.
