CURTORIM: A 31-year-old man originally from Jharkhand died after allegedly falling from a height at Sao Jose De Areal on Thursday, police said.
According to police, a wireless message was received from GMC Bambolim on April 30, 2026, at around 4:46 pm informing that Rajendra Dungdung, 31, a resident of Savordem and native of Jharkhand, was brought dead to the casualty ward as a case of fall from height.
During enquiry, police learned that the deceased had suffered grievous injuries after falling from a height at Sao Jose De Areal earlier in the day and later succumbed to the injuries.
The body has been preserved at GMC Bambolim for further medico-legal formalities.
Further enquiry in the case is being conducted by PSI Ashutosh A. Naik of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
