PANAJI: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited has announced additional Summer Special Trains between Madgaon Junction Railway Station and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to cater to the increased passenger rush during the Summer Season 2026.
According to a press release issued by KRCL, Train No. 01104 Madgaon Junction – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will depart from Madgaon at 10:00 am on April 30, 2026, and reach Mumbai at 10:05 pm the same day.
The return service, Train No. 01103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Madgaon Junction Special, will leave Mumbai at 10:55 pm on April 30 and arrive in Madgaon at 12:50 pm the following day.
The train will halt at Karmali, Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon, Roha, Pen, Panvel and Thane stations.
KRCL also announced another pair of Summer Special Trains. Train No. 01004 Madgaon Junction – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will leave Madgaon at 4:30 pm on May 3, 2026, and reach Mumbai at 6:20 am the next day.
The return train, Train No. 01003 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Madgaon Junction Special, will depart from Mumbai at 8:20 am on May 4 and arrive in Madgaon at 10:40 pm on the same day.
This train will halt at Karmali, Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Vilavade, Adavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon, Roha, Pen, Panvel and Thane stations.
Both train services will consist of 21 coaches, including one AC Three Tier coach, 11 Sleeper coaches, seven General coaches and two SLR coaches.
