PANAJI: BJP State President Sadanand Tanavade today said that Michael Lobo exiting the party will have no impact on its future prospects for the Goa Assembly Elections on February 14.
“Lobo’s exit will have no impact on its future prospects for the Goa Assembly Elections on February 14; Michael had left the party long back, and he was only physically present with us,” said Tanavade reacting to Lobo’s exit.
He further said that BJP knew that Lobo would quit the party, and it was not a surprise.
“We were waiting for him to quit the party as he was interfering too much in Siolim and Mapusa constituencies,” he said.
Tanavade claimed that BJP would win both the seats of Calangute and Siolim.
