OLD GOA: Old Goa Police Station has registered an offence against a Chimbel resident for allegedly assaulting a man with a hockey stick and causing injuries.
According to the complaint filed by Shivesh Dessai (27), a resident of Kadamba Housing Society, the incident occurred on May 4 at around 6:40 pm within the housing society premises. His father, Sandip Dessai, was on an evening walk when the accused, identified as Arun Talaulikar, allegedly abused him and later attacked him with a hockey stick.
Police said the accused struck the victim on the head, resulting in a bleeding injury. Based on the complaint, an FIR has been registered under Sections 118(1) and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
A notice in connection with the case has also been issued by police. Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Saiesh Bhonsle.
