PANAJI: Amrut Medicos’ MEDCON 2.0 was held in Goa, bringing together members of the medical fraternity on a platform focused on collaboration, knowledge-sharing and service.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant attended the event and lauded the initiative, stating, “This platform truly reflects unity, knowledge-sharing, and service within the medical fraternity.”
He congratulated Dr. Vijay Narayan Sharma on assuming office as President and appreciated the efforts of Adv. Sanjay Singh and other members for strengthening the association.
Highlighting Goa’s healthcare achievements, the Chief Minister said the state continues to set benchmarks with strong infrastructure, quality public health indicators, and a focus on preventive and integrated care, including AYUSH. He noted that initiatives in early screening, community outreach, and advanced healthcare collaborations are contributing to improved health outcomes.
He further emphasised that associations like Amrut Medicos play a vital role in encouraging innovation, cooperation and continuous learning among medical professionals.
