MARGAO: Police have registered a kidnapping case after a minor girl was allegedly taken away from her lawful guardianship in Dharmapur.
According to police, the complaint was lodged by the girl’s father, whose identity has been withheld to protect the minor. The incident reportedly occurred on April 19 at around 10:00 am, when an unknown accused person allegedly kidnapped the minor daughter from Dharmapur.
Following the complaint, a case has been registered at Margao Town Police Station, and efforts are underway to trace the missing girl and identify the accused involved.
Police sources said search operations have been initiated, and all angles are being examined as part of the investigation.
