PANAJI: With the rise in dengue cases,

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that he has given the Director of Municipal Administration instructions to issue a circular to COs of Municipalities directing them to interact with respective Health Officers.
“With dengue on the rise, I have given instructions to the Director of M
unicipal Administration to issue a circular to COs of Municipalities directing them to interact with respective Health Officers,” said Rane.
He further said that a monitoring mechanism to control the spread of dengue is the need of the hour.
“Director of Health Services has been directed to inform all Health Officers to work in sync with Panchayats and Municipalities in order to take the necessary steps in the public interest to curb the spread of Dengue in the state of Goa,” he said.
Last week around 25 cases of dengue were found across the Sattari Taluka after inspection of DHS.
