AGACAIM: Agacaim Police have registered an offence against a 27-year-old resident of Neura O Grande for allegedly carrying out illegal land filling and unauthorized construction without obtaining permission from the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department.
The case was registered on May 26 at 5:31 pm following a written complaint lodged by Dattaprasad S. Toraskar, Mamlatdar of Tiswadi Taluka.
According to police, the accused, identified as Anthony Gonsalves, resident of Xencre Bhat, Neura O Grande, allegedly carried out illegal land filling over an area of approximately 2,000 square metres in survey number 96/6 of Village Neura O Grande, Tiswadi.
Police further stated that the accused had also constructed a swimming pool along with a concrete structure on the same property without obtaining prior written permission from the TCP Department, thereby violating provisions of the TCP Act.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Zaki Hussain of Agacaim Police Station.
