* Says the central BJP leaders will decide whether to give MGP a place in the cabinet or not
* Reject allegations of local BJP blocks that MGP came for support without asking for it by BJP

PONDA: MGP Central Committee clarified that the party offered unconditional support to the BJP government only after BJP central leadership request.
Pratap Fadte, while addressing media along with other members of MGP Central Committee, said that on 10 March, only after election results were declared, BJP Central leader contacted MGP leader Sudin Dhavlikar, following which MGP Central committee offered its support in the formation of BJP Government without any condition.
“Our support is unconditional, based on the request of BJP Central leaders. The central BJP leaders will decide whether to give MGP a place in the cabinet or not,” he said.
He rejected the allegations of BJP block presidents at Shiroda, Ponda, Marcaim and Priol that MGP gave support without asking for it by BJP.
He said they are unaware of BJP leaders discussing the issue with MGP leaders on giving support.
The BJP block presidents in Ponda Taluka had said that there is no need of support for the BJP government, nor MGP should be given any cabinet berth in Government.
MGP leader Sudin Dhavlikar had earlier occasions had said that since BJP National leaders contacted him, he is offering unconditional support to the BJP government without any expectations and that MGP Central committee has permitted for it.
When asked whether an alliance with TMC hit MG Party prospects, he said he didn’t feel so.
He said even TMC got a 10 per cent vote share in Goa. As said, no parivartan but AAP Party is getting 2 seats and RG getting 1 seat is the only new development in this election.
