“The results indicate that citizens across the country have placed their confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Sawant said, adding that the trend in West Bengal marks a significant political shift.
He also expressed gratitude to voters for their support and said the outcome reinforces the belief that both the country and West Bengal would remain secure and progress under Modi’s leadership.
The Chief Minister’s remarks come as counting trends point to strong gains for the BJP and its allies in multiple states, with West Bengal emerging as a key battleground showing a decisive tilt in favour of the party.
