VASCO: Goencho Ekvott social group to further intensify the public awareness campaign against the three linear projects till the government agrees to their demands.
In a press note issued by the Goencho Ekvott social group, Goencho Ekvott lawyer Adv Seoulla Vas stated that the personal hearing for land acquisition for South Western Railway Double Tracking was concluded for some affected residents of Velsao, that the decision given by the Deputy Collector was against the affected landowners, who had an ancestral house and landholdings.
Further, the Goencho Ekvott group stated that the entire administration in the State of Goa is being suppressed by the Central Government Agencies to facilitate the transportation of Coal through their pristine villages to benefit their crony capitalists across the State’s border without any benefit for the State or it’s people.
GE has assured to further intensify the Public Awareness Campaign against the three linear projects till the government listens to the masses.
