“Providing Health Care Facilities at Door Step is Our Objective”, Amit Patkar

CURCHOREM: Social Worker and Youth Leader from Curchorem constituency, Amit Patkar, has taken up a unique Initiative for Curchorem’s senior citizens to conduct Free Medical Health Checkup in full-fledged Ambulance.
The Free Medical Health Checkup Camp covers testing of blood sugar, monitoring of Blood Pressure, monitoring of Pulse and other basic ailments.
On the First Day, the camp was held at Maad, Bansai and received a good response from the citizens that this will help them not travel much and get self-checked in this pandemic.
Patkar said about this initiative, “Providing Health Care Facilities at the doorstep is our objective. Thus we have started with Medical Health Checkup Camp from today, and the camp will continue all over the constituency. I urge our people to come and take benefit of same as Health should be our topmost priority. ”
“I have decided not to keep the most modern Ambulance idle. If Curchorem should become vibrant, Churchorcars like me should become smart and innovative,” he added.
He said as a businessman, he knows the value of capital assets.
“We cannot keep them idle. So, let us provide service to the people even if the Health Department wants to put roadblocks. We are not at war with the government. The government probably consider freedom-loving Curchorcar’s as enemies. People will give a fitting reply to this government. I have full faith and confidence in the people of Curchorem. I will continue with my social work and also a political movement to expose this government,” he said.
