PANAJI: The Save Old Goa Action Committee said the Revocation of permissions by the panchayat and the TCP department is just an eyewash.
“Both the so-called revocation orders issued by the village panchayat of Ella and the TCP department of the Government of Goa, apparently on the same day, are totally Misleading and an Eye Wash for the people of Goa,” SOGC said.
It said the permissions/Licenses which were given by committing first-degree fraud in connivance with the ruling Government are now said to be revoked just to fool the people of Goa. How can the fraudulent permissions/licenses be revoked when the structure is fully completed? Now is the stage for demolition and not revocation.
“The Save Old Goa Action Committee is not at all moved with these kinds of eye wash revocations and sticks to its demand of getting the illegal structure razed to ground level,” it said.
It says the Satyagraha will continue till the physical demolition of the illegal structure and notifying the demarcation of the Protected Areas, Prohibited Areas and Regulated Areas on the Regional Plan.
