PANAJI: Konkan Railway Police has registered a complaint of theft against an unknown person.
Police said that a senior citizen Roque Rodrigues (61), resident of Thane Maharashtra was robbed of cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 2.5 lakh while travelling in Matsyagandha Express by an unknown person near the Karmali Railway Station.
As per information, a pink bag containing gold mangalsutra, necklace, one pair of earrings, ladies finger ring gram besides the mobile phone, debit card, house keys and cash of Rs 6,000 was stolen by an unknown person.
Konkan Railway Police have registered an offence, and PSI Krishna Naik is investigating the case.
