DHARBANDORA: A tiger carcass discovered in a forested area of Dharbandora prompted swift action from authorities, with a postmortem conducted to determine the cause of death.
Forest officials and veterinary experts reached the site soon after the animal was reported and carried out the examination as per prescribed wildlife procedures. The carcass was found in a decomposed condition, indicating that the death may have occurred several days earlier.
Due to the state of the remains, officials said the exact cause could not be established on the spot. However, samples collected during the postmortem have been sent for further forensic and toxicological analysis.
