PANAJI: “Congratulations to Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte for organising an apt event reflecting the true image of the most corrupt BJP Government in Goa. I urge Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to participate along with all his Cabinet Ministers & BJP MLAs in the ‘Narkasur Competition’ organised by the Tourism Department,” stated Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar.
Reacting to the advertisements issued by the Tourism Department for the “Narkasur Competition” and other events at Porvorim, Amarnath Panjikar has fired a salvo at the BJP Government in a sarcastic way.
This must be for the first time that people across the Country will be able to see live performances of “Narkasuras” who have converted Goa into a “Narak” with piles of garbage across the State, corruption in every department, rising unemployment rate and collapse of law and order with a steep increase in crimes, Amarnath Panjikar said.
The tourism Department should also organise an exhibition titled “Art of Corruption” showcasing the Lokayukta Certified Beach Cleaning Scam, Scams under Mission 30 per cent Commission, Corruption in Marketing & Promotional Events in Tourism Department, demanded Amarnath Panjikar.
“I also appeal to Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte to put on display the Hop-on Hop-off Buses, Sea Planes, Amphi Vehicles, Hot Air Balloons, Tourism Helicopters which were launched in last ten years by BJP Governments with a lot of fanfare, but have gone out of the site now,” Amarnath Panjikar said.
It is really sad that the BJP Government in Goa is glorifying “Narkasuras” and not “Shree Krishna”. This is the true culture of the Bhartiya Janata Party which has always used religion for political benefits, charged Amarnath Panjikar.
