Ponda: Silvanagar-Ponda tragic incident on October 20, as an 8-year-old girl lost her life after being struck by a car while riding her bicycle. The vehicle, reversing in the vicinity, failed to spot the child, resulting in fatal injuries.
Eyewitnesses reported that the girl was critically hurt and succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The accident has left the local community in shock, casting a somber shadow over Diwali festivities in the area.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident, and additional information is expected to emerge in the coming days.
