CUCHELIM: Goa Police have registered a murder case following the death of a 61-year-old man who was allegedly assaulted at Cuchelim in Bardez.
According to police information, the complaint was lodged on May 2, 2026 at around 5.28 pm by Sneha Pandurang Dhargalkar, 33, a resident of Dulatwado, Cansa Board, Thivim, Bardez Goa.
The complainant alleged that on April 29, 2026 between 8.00 pm and 8.30 pm at Olga Bar and Restaurant, Cuchelim, Bardez Goa, the accused persons identified as Aaron Agnel Fernandes and Ramprasad Ajit Kumar Guin, both residents near Olga Bar and Restaurant at Cuchelim, acted with common intention and allegedly murdered her father, Subhash Rama Naik, 61, a resident of Khadpawado, Cuchelim, Bardez.
Police said the accused allegedly assaulted the victim with slaps, kicks and fist blows, resulting in his death.
Both accused persons were arrested on May 2, 2026 in connection with the case.
Further investigation is being carried out by PI Nanin Desai of Goa Police.
