PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the state government will write to Bombay High Court requesting to use Konkani language along with English during the court proceeding at the Goa Bench.
“Government will write to Bombay High Court requesting to use Konkani language along with English during Court proceedings at Goa bench,” said CM Sawant addressing the media Basha Sahodari International Hindi Conference
He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the trend to bring in offical gazette of the Government of India in Hindi language.
“Goans speak four language that is Hindi, Konkani, Marathi and English,” said CM Sawant
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Inaugurated the 8th International Hindi Conference organized by Bhasha Sahodari Hindi at IMB, Panaji.
“It is for the first time that the International Hindi Conference is taking place outside Delhi and I am happy that Bhasha Sahodari Hindi, chose Goa to hold the conference,” he added
