PANAJI: IT Minister Rohan Khaunte today said that
Internet Connectivity drives every development and ‘Har Ghar Fiber Mission’ will enable the whole of Goa to be connected and more so empower our Rural areas to overcome the Digital Divide.
“Internet Connectivity drives every development and ‘Har Ghar Fiber Mission’ will enable the whole of Goa to be connected and more so empower our Rural areas to overcome the Digital Divide,” said Khaunte.
He further said that Goa was the first state to get connected under swan network and Goa is connected till the last mile.
“The whole initiative is getting connected. Internet is become the fundamental right and providing basic amenities” he added.
Khaunte said that the Rural area is something that remains backword and that it what he during the COVID times that internet was a problem during that time.
“Because of that communication and education thorough online medium was stuck and along with CM we are working on aspect of fibre,” he added.
