PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that he will solve 10,000 Forest Right Cases (FRC) and Mundkarial cases as soon as possible.
“My government has taken initiative to clear all pending cases.My government during the last tenure was sucessfull in resolving 500 FRC’s,” said Sawant
He further said that in the next 2 years, 5,000 cases will be resolved and by the end of the tenure of this government and all 10,000 cases will be taken to task.
“We will also resolve all Mudkarial cases and I urge all the citizens who have not yet applied for resolution of the cases to apply for the same,” he added
It may be recalled, the State government, as part of administrative reforms, had made the system of online mutation in continuation to the online registration of sale deeds in the sub-registrar’s office.
The Chief Minister said the online system was put in place with the objective of making life simpler for the citizens and to cut down the unnecessary delay while updating revenue records.
But it was found that the performance for the last three months by all the mamlatdars has not been encouraging as some applications have been rejected due to simple and minor shortcomings.
