DABOLIM: The first foreign charter flight of the 2026–27 tourist season is scheduled to arrive at Dabolim on September 30. An Aeroflot flight from Russia is expected to carry around 180 passengers, marking the beginning of the seasonal charter movement at the airport.
Aeroflot is expected to operate around 96 charter flights to Dabolim during the season, connecting Goa with Moscow and Yekaterinburg. Four flights are planned each week, with services scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Goa is also expected to welcome tourists from Kazakhstan, with SCAT Airlines scheduled to begin charter operations to Dabolim in October. The airline is expected to operate two flights a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, with around 48 charter flights planned during the season.
The charter movement is significant for Goa’s tourism-dependent economy, particularly during the October–March peak season. The arrival of thousands of foreign visitors is expected to support demand for hotels, taxis, tour operators, restaurants, shopping establishments and other tourism-linked businesses.
With the first charter flight scheduled to land on September 30, airport authorities and tourism stakeholders are preparing for the arrival of international visitors and the start of another busy foreign tourist season in Goa.
