DAVORLIM: Police are investigating a complaint filed by a mother of minor children alleging that 15 persons formed an unlawful assembly and criminally trespassed into a school at TNK, Davorlim, while regular classes were in progress.
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly attempted to disturb the complainant’s children, who are students of the school, as well as other students.
The group is also accused of frightening the children and creating an unsafe environment on the school premises.
The complaint further alleges that the accused, having actual charge or control over the schoolchildren, exposed them to circumstances likely to cause unnecessary mental or physical suffering.
The persons named in the complaint are Asharaf Pandiyal of Davorlim; Shaikh Aslam of Gogol; Shaikh Javed of Aquem; Hussain Kalholi and Rafiq Hatimali of Mandopa; Sadiq Bhehathi and Mohammed Sadiq Dodmani of Rumdamol; Mehboob Makandar and Taj Makandar of Gogol; Maula Ali Shaikh of Chimbel; Sayed Siraj of Aquem; Shaikh Jina of Rumdamol, Davorlim; Kalil of Gogol; and Altaf Sayed and Kader Shah of Fatorda.
Further investigation in the case is being conducted by LPSI Veronica Coutinho of Maina Curtorim Police Station.
