SATTARI: In a significant development in the alleged shooting case reported at Shriram Nagar, Podoshe, around a year ago, Nandakumar Mahadev Apte, a resident of Podoshe, has been discharged by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court, Valpoi, today.
Apte was facing proceedings in connection with the alleged incident under Sections 125, 118 and 118(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and Section 25(9) of the Arms Act.
Advocate Shivaji Desai represented Apte before the court, while Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Ajay Halanakar appeared on behalf of the State.
The court’s decision marks a significant development in the case, which had drawn attention in the Sattari area following the alleged shooting incident at Shriram Nagar, Podoshe.
