PANAJI: Health Ministre Vishwajit Rane, who held meeting with representatives of private hospitals, has informed that 250 beds have been reserved for COVID19 patients in private hospitals.
Rane informed that earlier only 76 beds were reserved for Covid patients.
“After meeting with private hospitals representatives, many of them have voluntarily decided to keep beds reserved, now reserved beds have gone up 250,” he said.
Rane said government will not issue any formal order; there is no nodal agency to coordinate with private hospitals for Remdesivir, oxygen and other needs.
