PANJIM: Additional Director Panchayat today heard an appeal filed by Goa IIT Director challenging Guleli VP decision to decline NOC for construction of compound wall at the proposed IIT site.
The matter is fixed on October 21 for next hearing.
IIT Goa director had challenged the order of the Guleli panchayat rejecting NOC for the construction of compound wall.
The Villagers of Shel Melauli have filed a intervention application, which has been accepted by the Director.
Meanwhile, despite the heavy rains the women from Shel Melauli have continued their rasta roko andolan.
