PANAJI: North Goa SP Nidhin Valsan said they are exploring whether Russian tourists’ alleged black magic activities are a cognizable offence for registering the case.
“We are exploring whether Russian tourists’ alleged black magic activities is a cognizable offence for registering the case,” said SP Valsan.
He further said that they have to see whether it is covered under the law; if not, necessary action will be taken.
A shocking incident was reported where a group of Russian tourists were allegedly found practising black magic at Bhomwada-Palyem.
A group of tourists are seen in a dark place with sets of torches lit around. A girl is seen in the middle of the setup.
Later, a few youth from the locality arrived at the scene; they started questioning the tourists seeking information on whether they had permission to perform such rituals at that place. One of them asked whether they met the panch members before organizing the setup there.
