PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today informed that the tanker with 20,000 litres of oxygen has reached Super Specialty Block and that his team shall start moving patients at the earliest as assured
“Our team is working persistently to save precious lives and fight this pandemic together as a team” said Rane
He said that government will soon be commissioning 150 ICU beds at GMC Super Speciality Block at the earliest.
HM Rane had a detailed meeting in the presence of Dean GMC Dr. Bandekar, Dir. DHS Dr D’Sa, Dr Anar Khandeparkar, Dr. Viraj, HSSC official Sandeep Jain, nurses & patrons to discuss preparedness for commissioning 150 ICU beds in the Super Specialty Block.
“All the equipment will be procured at the earliest & in the next two-three days we will ensure we have enough oxygen and beds are commissioned.” said Rane
He further said that other facilities will include housekeeping, requisitioned staff and a facility management agency on board in order to back up operations.
“The Sodexo team will also be helping us with setting up proper nutrition for patients.,” he added
Meanwhile, Rane said that their working towards ensuring we commission the facility at the earliest.
