BICHOLIM: A police constable attached to PCR Panjim from Kudnem Bicholim drowned in a river in his village. According to the available information the incident occurred in the evening when one Sameer Gad had gone fishing in a river near his house at Kudnem in Bicholim. The exact reason for drowning was not immediately known. Sources said Gad alongwith the friend had gone with his friend for fishing. They were trying to put net when one of them drowned… Other tried to save but within minute or so he was drowned, sources revealed.
